It’s finally happening, I’m available on amazon.com. This is the next level of legitimacy. Now I can submit some mp3s to Pandora and try to get my music played on that greatest of associative stream-of-consciousness internet radio stations.
Wish me luck, buy my CD, tell your friends, and check back on Pandora every now and again. Who knows, I just might get lucky.

Bluegrass Country

Well, DC folks, I hope you were tuned in to WAMU’s Bluegrass Country on your HD radios this morning! At around 10:42, I had my song “Lightnin Bug” played on the Lee Michael Demsey Show. This is a great show playing a mix of old traditional and (obviously) new bluegrass music.
For those of you not in the DC area or who don’t own an HD radio (me neither) you can listen to this and other great shows at bluegrasscountry.org where bluegrass music is played 24/7! Ah, the internet.

Many thanks to Ben Richter for inviting me to play in his composition, Song of Lost Jerusalem, last night at the Gershwin Hotel. What a great show it was, and the first time I’ve ever bowed the banjo! Thanks Ben!

CD Release Show @ Swan Loft

This is the big one! I’ll have several musicians from the CD to play with me as I introduce On the Tracks to the world!
Little baby songs, all grown up into a plastic disc and a cardboard jacket.
Well, the cardboard is recycled and the songs are new originals – all 10 of them – so this should be a blast!
I do hope you can make it if you are in the Brooklyn area. If not, there’s plenty of ways to buy my CD, including Amazon, iTunes, and even (sort of) mail order! Check the CD page for information and updates.
